01How it works

Photograph the pile. A garage corner, a closet floor, a room mid-move. Step back far enough to get everything in frame.

The app names what it sees. Rather than trying to measure objects from the picture — which a photograph genuinely cannot support — it recognises each item and applies the size that kind of thing normally is. Distance, angle, and lens stop mattering.

You get a plan. A bin count, a packing order that puts the heavy and awkward things first, and a shopping list of the containers to buy.

02What it is good for

• Working out how many bins to buy before a move, instead of guessing at the shop.
• Sizing up a storage unit before signing for one.
• Clearing a garage, attic, or basement without three trips for more containers.
• Keeping a record of what went into which bin, so you can find it later.

03An honest word on accuracy

The estimate is a well-informed starting point, not a measurement. A photograph carries no true scale, items hidden behind other items cannot be counted, and awkward shapes always pack less efficiently than arithmetic suggests. Check it against your own judgement before buying anything you cannot return.

04Privacy

No accounts, no sign-up, no name or email required. Your scans and photos stay on your iPhone. The only thing that leaves the device is a photo you choose to scan, sent for analysis after the app has explained it and you have agreed. Details in the Privacy Policy.

05Pricing

The first five scans are free. StoragePal.AI Pro unlocks unlimited scans, every bin size, packing plans, shopping lists, and export — $4.99 per month or $50.00 per year. Cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings.
